Picnic table benches stand alone

It looks like maybe the benches are supported by legs that go deep into the ground. . . kinda unique. Found this in a neighborhood yard here. I bet this is a lovely yard when the flowers are blooming and the fountain is running. . .

We went to visit the Marshall House on one of our walks and this is what greeted us on the porch. I love their style and the shadow is pretty too!
