I first started blogging about benches with Kerri and Dot on this site: For the Love of Benches . If you care to see some of the older posts about benches we posted, please look it up.
This is another great BENCHES blog -- go here:

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
This is what I saw through the porch railings. Horrible photo, I know. It was such a unique bench, I got up my courage and went up on their porch to get a photo. This is what I was rewarded with for doing so:
I didn't even realize I had this bench. I was taking photos of the snow a couple years back. Searching for snow photos to use with my poetry, I ran across it.
I started a new blog over at scrapblog with photos and poems and when looking for a winter photo for that, I saw this bench full of snow. Even the snow has a resting place! Ü
This duck pond is one fo my favorite places to go any time of the year but the snow around it intrigues me and to find a bench covered in snow is such a pretty fixture in this setting.
A friend had just a corner of this bench on her blog post and I was kidding her about not getting the whole thing in her photo. So, she sent me this photo to show she had done it. Kinda a neat place for a bench!
They are working on the elevators in our apartment building over the next 6 months. This is the kind of bench we have in them now. They won't be installing benches in the new elevators and that is our loss! We are hoping to send a petition to get benches re-installed in the newly refurbished elevators.
The people must care about this bench since they chained it to their porch so it won't "walk off." BUT it doesn't look like they care about the rest of their house.
I showed one of these before. Just before the Farmers Market closed for the season, they had lots of these black foldable benches so thought it was worth another post. There are 5 sets!
Although I took two photos of this bench, you can't really see its beauty. It is most unique and elegant with the patterns and curves.! You realize the owners appreciate fine things besides the bench when you see the single decorative metal chairs in the background against the house too.
If you want to see a very ornate bench at Paul's site, go here: Paul's October 25th blog Scroll all the way down to the end of the post. You won't be sorry you took the time. couldn't figure out how to link it directly, just to the page.
I know this looks like a bunch of chairs at first but I looked at it closely and it is a individual chair bench. The metal table in front of it matches the design of the chairs. I found it on the way to the courthouse for Jury Duty last month. It is a a beautiful design even if the cushions aren't all that great.
