This is one I will have to get a retake of -- actually, it is 4 benches. I blurred it hurrying to take it before that person with leg in my picture sat down on it! But you get the idea. . .

I like the placement of this bench and when I get a chance I am going to go on a hike there on their trail around the University which includes this scene.

I went over there with a few people from our church because Willy was playing in a Christmas concert. It was wonderful and I found several benches as this week will attest to. I plan to go back on the bus and see if I can find even more.

Another cement bench at Pythian House

You can see the design around the edges and the legs if you enlarge it by CLICKing on photo. They certainly have enough benches at this place! I was glad I had the opportunity to be there at the right time.

Another rocker bench at Pythian House

They had three of these. I tried it out and loved sitting there rocking!

These two benches were also at the Pythian Home in their courtyard but I felt they deserved their own post since it is obvious they are for plants instead of people! Ü

When our church youth group went to the Pythian Home to sing Christmas carols, I saw this last bench through the window so took it through the glass BUT then we got a tour of the garden area so I took all the rest of them. All same style but so nice to have so many to sit and enjoy when walking around outside.

Saw this one when we went caroling with the youth group at the Ceterans Hospital. I know it is blurry but using it until I can go back and re-take it.

It doesn't look too inviting but I suppose i you had to have a place to put on or take off your boots, this would work.

Wet benches at Marine Park

I was walking through this park on Thursday night to get to a celebration or the man who was our Mayor for 16 years and spotted this. Always have my camera with me so . . .and, YES the grass was very sloshy!

I have new benches to put online BUT I must have lost my cord tonight that connects me to the computer with camera so until I get it replaced, I guess I can't blog anymore with photos. sigh I remember taking out my camera to take a photo of the Old Apple Tree on my way to a celebration for our mayor that was mayor for 20 years of service to the city. . . and didn't see it drop. It has been raining so even if I find it again, it probably won't work. SIGH

Bench at Safeway on Hiway 99

I happened to run into this store for some styrofoam cups for an event we were sponsoring at our apartment building and on the way back out the door, I spotted this bench so out came the camera. . .

Bench at Smith Tower for flower pots!!!!!!!

I think this originally was meant to be a bench for the residents of Smith Tower but they have obviously turned it into a garden area. . .

I sat on this one and rocked for a minute. It was wonderful. Could stand a bit of paint but otherwise a simply wonderful bench!
