I found this in the antique store also. The abck of the rattan has an opening on both sides.

Another tiny bench! So much piled on it you could hardly see the rattan. It has metal arms and frame. I found it in an antique store.

This was the second one I spotted as I entered Craft Warehouse to look for soem material for my patriotic room I am decorating.

Three Benches

There are three benches in this photo. I took this yesterday at the Virginia Tech Duck Pond. It is a GREAT place to benches!!

Lonnnnnnnnnnnnng bench outside the bathrooms at Wintler park

I had not noticed this before so think it is new sicne I was at this park last year even tho it doesn't look "new."

They have extended the walking path east on the beach and these benches were along that when I was there last week.

Multipurpose bench in antique store. . .

I would have bought this if I had room to put it in my tiny apartment.
This way, it serves as a desk or table.

When table is folded back and up, it becomes a bench and the bench has a storage place in it because the seat lifts up to hold things. (I could see storing my table lines in there. . .)

Saw this one on the third floor of the antique shop. I think anything that is old and not taken care of gets sold there!

This is another lovely bench for sale at antique store. It also ahd two side chairs with same style of framing as back of this one but with pink cushions -- I did not take a photo of them but one is partially caught in the above photo.

A friend and I went for a short walk and took a different street than we usually walk on and discovered this neat bench! It didn't hurt that I also got a reflection in the window too -- of course the first shot was a reflection of the two of us with the trees and house across the street but I soon deleted that one. . .Ü

Bench at Joe's Crab Shack on the Columbia River

I was wandering down by the river and I saw this bench at a restaurant there. When I investigated further, the backing and the seat had a mesh covering which was unique. Definitely keeps you cool. . . and it looks like it swings too! Never saw one quite like it before. It must be a new addition as I have walked past there and never saw it. . .

Neighhborhood bench

Taking a walk with a friend last night, I spotted this neat bench.

Along the Columbia in March . . .

I have shown the bench that is darker before but not the light one and never in winter with Mt. Hood in view also. I had a nice hike along the Columbia River today even tho it was overcast and not a bit of blue in the sky. . . even so, the sun shone brightly. CLICK on to see Mt. Hood better.

Picnic table benches stand alone

It looks like maybe the benches are supported by legs that go deep into the ground. . . kinda unique. Found this in a neighborhood yard here. I bet this is a lovely yard when the flowers are blooming and the fountain is running. . .
