Bisset Park Bench

One of the many benches at Bisset Park. You can see
the New River right behind it.
EDIT: The name of the River is the New River.
I didn't have the "n" capitalized the first time around.

The picture is very beautyful, with autumn colors, an old bench made of wood..
but how can a river be "new"?...

I clicked on the link and it said there was no info there about it BUT there wee additional links so I clicked on one of them and it said New River is a tributary of some other known river at the time it was discovered so guess that's how it got its name. A tributary of a known river was called new River because it separated from the original one. . .
