Long bench with shadow at Waterfront Park -- NAMI walk bench #2

I love the ironwork on the arms of this bench and the shadow!

Found several benches on the NAMI walk #1

We walked 3 miles (5 km) starting on one side of the Wilhamette River and over one bridge and then parallel to the river on the other side of the river and back across a 2nd bridge to our starting point. Of course I had my camera with me. They had lots of benches along the way.

Victorian bench at Marshall House on Officers Row

When the Army gave the city of Vancouver the houses called " Officer's Row" for one penny, they had to promise to remodel and bring up to code the houses on Fort Vancouver Way and Reserve Street. They did and now many are condos or rented out as offices for businesses but they look like the houses did in their glory days from the outside. But there were three houses that were decorated in the period they were built -- with furniture that qualified as Victorian. Two of those houses have guided tours Monday through Saturday and it is all run by volunteers and donations.

This setee bench is from the Marshall House. Isn't it beautiful? Looks very confortable also but we were not allowed to try it out.

Benches at the Rose garden at O.O. Howard House

You have seen all these before but this time they have the roses in bloom near them so put them all in the same post just to use them again.

Lots of cushions on this bench!

Certainly looks comfortable. . . only clue it's a bench are the legs and metal arm.

Beautiful wooden bench with curves

I cannot remember where I took this photo -- inside someplace. It is so beautiful but I still think it could do with a few colorful cushions for the seat!

I went across the river to a shopping center in Portland, Oregon and that is whre I saw this bench. I haven't seen a bench with ads on it since I was a child. . .

Near the sidewalk, facing the restaurant, is this lovely BIG bench. I have never seen anyone sitting on it but then I only go to the restaurant to buy my whole lemon meringue pies! Ü Maybe it is a nice spot to meet someone that is walking there?

Unusual style white bench

I wish I could have taken a better photo of this one. . . I like the style of it -- what I can see. The angel stands out more distinctly. . . and the white cane. . . I wonder if a blind person lives there and enjoys the cool breeze of spring?

Small Seat for one made with bench planks

It has to be for an adult -- a small child would slip through the back where there are no slats!

Getting ready for Spring?

Looks like either they just put this stuff out or are getting ready to place it somewhere. I can't go back and check since I take photos of benches at all times and have no recollection of where I got this one in our large city.

Bench for everything but sitting on. . .

I went out to eat RIBS for Mother's Day and next door was this ice cream place with benches. I guess they are trying to encourage walkers to also buy their product!

This beautiful blue bench matches the trim on the house. The decorative arms are inviting and beautiful! Decided to take a closeup and another in context. It is a beautiful setting!

Feeding Time for baby Hummingbirds bench. . .

Look at the side of this bench -- see the mama hummingbird feed her babies in the nest? This was in front of a store that was trying to sell it. I think they should remove the distractions from the seat of the bench and let it stand alone. Both sides have this carving on them and the top issimple. A perfect garden bench!

Bench in Walmart near pick -up Prescriptions Area

The photo didn't come out its best -- it is another of those metal mesh benches and was very comfortable while I was waiting for my prescription to be filled.

Storage bench for sale

I would love to have this beautiful storage bench in my home. . . wish they were delivering it to me! The sign says it is a distressed pine bench and it costs way too much for me! I will just have to enjoy it through the photo.

At John Ball Park playground

Just another bench usually filled with Mother's who have taken their kids to play at the park. I like the unusual way the legs are built for the bench!
