The back of this bench has X metal strips besides the parallel boards -- probably to make it more sturdy? It is too bad people had to carve names into the wood.

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

Wooden benches often attract graffiti. That's a pity, but it's difficult to fight against it.
I have hardly seen a bench without some scribbling and carving - at least public ones. It is just one of those things.
