Two views . . .

This is what the benches looked like with me facing them and having the parking area under one bridge in Portland, Oregon in the background.

I like this view better! It is the same benches but looking towards the Wilamette River in Portland. Aren't those trees just gorgeous?

Willows have such a pleasing way with their branches and leaves draping. The breeze off the river must be pleasant when sitting on either of the benches.

I quite agree. It would be dull to have to just watch what is under the bridge. Evene a car park i better - at least there are the trees to watch! :-)

Seeing the two views, one could think the pictures were taken in two different places!Of course, the second one is much more pleasant. Willows near the river are refreshing and romantic..

I love the willows - we had one in our front garden and it is one of the few things we miss from our old home.

PS Hey I'll probably only list about 3-5 blogpostss in my postings but I'll always include this in my sidebar.

Yep, I like it facing the river too. Almost perfect to relax and meditate from a busy day.
