These two benches are outside in case someone arrives early before the station is open OR if they want to sit in the sunshine and wait for the train. The weather shows the wear and tear on them but they are still useful.

It seems that lots of people must have sat waiting on those benches.
Yes, they seem to have had a long and full life..but it gives them charm!
They sure came in handy when I got to the train station an hour early in the rain and had to wait for the depot to open. (I didn't want to miss the train.) Besides they ahd a roof shelter on top to keep me out of the rain. . .
