Old worn bench?????

I don't know if this was originally a bench but it looks like it is being used as one now. I wonder what the myseterious hole in it was for? There was no explanation near it but it was in the naval Museum in Bremerton. You know me . . . if there is a possibility that it might be a bench, I take a photo of it!

Chain saw benches at 2 grandsons soccer building

This bench was probably made by the same person that was at our Clark County Fair with his chain saw benches. My son's family could hardly wait for soccer night to show it to me. Then I showed them the ones I had taken photos of that were similar from the Clark County Fair in August. . . This is a beautiful one too!

Foot Ferry Benches

You can see this a little better if you enlarge it -- it is near the stairway down where there are more benches to sit on.
Don't you just love these benches? Life vests for children and adults are stored under the benches. . .

There are two levels to ride on the ferry inside. I was trying not to take photos where people were sitting so just got a few examples of the long benches to sit on indoors on the ferry between Port Orchard and Bremerton.

End table benches

It looks like these benches have little table "ärms" for people's coffee, etc. There were many of these in the Naval Water Park in front of the Bremerton Naval Shipyard. These are just three of them.

Stool Benches

Some may not call these benches but since they are so wide, I choose to call them chair benches.

Yes, it was another rainy day. . . what else is new in the Pacific Northwest? Yes, they are all the same set. My camera was having problems and I did not know if they came out properly so uploaded them all so you get a triple blessing in viewing them!

My son told me these are used as benches too! They are located in Bremerton near the Naval Museum by the shipyard in a beautiful park which provides many benches and waterfalls.

I spotted these beautiful benches outdoors when I was riding the ferry to Bremerton. If it hadn't been raining, that's where I would have loved to sit!

Rectangle of benches in park

This rectangle formation of benches was in a skate board area of a park near son's home in Port Orchard. The area also serves as a basketball court and is near a soccer field, a train ride and a picnic area.

Two views make the difference . . . bench!

This is a simple but interesting bench and one I would enjoy owning if I had a garden spot for it. . .
but what really makes this bench is the construction -- look from the side to see how the bench is stabilized. I love it!

Benches in Gig Harbor, Washington

While I was visiting son and family,we went to COSTCO for some groceries and free food sampling too! On the way home, I yelled for Amy to stop the car -- I just HAD TO HAVE a photo of those unique benches. . . She pulled around the corner and this is what I got. It was worth it, don't you think? They sure are long and narrow.

These benches have a great view looking towards the Columbia River and Portland, Oregon. They are weathered but sturdy and a welcome sight to river watch.

Bench #4 at Train Station in Vancouver

These two benches are outside in case someone arrives early before the station is open OR if they want to sit in the sunshine and wait for the train. The weather shows the wear and tear on them but they are still useful.

Bench #3 at Train Station in Vancouver

These are the newer benches in the Train Depot in Vancouver. Lots of room for a crowd to sit and wait for their train. . .

Bench #2 at Train Station in Vancouver

The lady selling tickets told me this bench in the middle is their oldest bench from original station. I didn't ask her how long ago the station was opened. It's a beautiful long bench!

Snowy ledge bench

Some would just call this a ledge but if you needed to sit and rest during your walk, it would serve as a welcome bench!

Another bench in antique store window

A small upholstered bench covered with clutter in antique store window.

A better photo of it with some of the clutter moved off and no glare. Notice the detail and shape of the top right side. It was hiding in the first photo. Isn't it a unique little bench?

Benches #2 at Olive Garden Restaurant

These beautiful benches are all in front of Olive Garden on 164th in Vancouver. I sat on one and it is very comfortable. They look a bit worn but they aren't -- that's just the style. It is at a new restaurant in east Vancouver.

Bench at a local park.

Another snowy bench in a yard during our first snowfall.

It was placed near the swing set so those watching the kids play could relax. It's a small bench that has beautiful arm ironwork.
