Sunrise Road Lookout Point benches
On the road to Sunrise to hike some more, we stopped here. Not only did I find this unique bench . . .
but we were rewarded with a gorgeous view no matter which direction we looked.
Bench on Sue's blog. . .
While visiting Sue's blog, I discovered she had a beautiful bench in her latest post. Check here and you won't be disappointed:

Another Farmers Market bench-- playing Rune's Friday benches
This is such a gorgeous bench that I would have wanted to buy it if I had room for it on a patio, etc. Instead I bought a smaller one but you will have to wait to see that one until I get photos of it. Ü
PS I am camping for the next few days but I have scheduled benches daily AND this is my bench to paricipate in Rune's challenge on Fridays. I will visit everyone's benches that drops by while I am gone asap after my return.

Two new leaves benches in downtown Portland
I was wandering around in Portland after I found out another friend, Fred, died. I had to do something new to take my mind off all my tears. He was the first person I met and who said hi to me when I moved in. He always called me "Pretty lady" and finally I figured out why. . . he couldn't rememebr my name! Ü Later he called me Paulie. I walked past this restaurant/bar and saw these two benches. They looked brand new! It was very sunny so it might be hard to see the wrought iron leaves -- you can see the reflection of them in the window of the building behnd them if nothing else. I enlarged them and could see more also. One day, I will find my way back there and try to get a better photo without so much sunshine interfering. Somehow, I think Fred was trying to add a bit of joy to my sad day.

Beautiful detailed Bench
us
This bench is one you must enlarge to see all the beauty! The back metal parts are like a lattice pie intertwined in and out. . . the two diamond shapes have flower patterns, probably Irises. Look at those decorative legs and arms! The empty bottle nearby suggests this bench was used recently. Isn't it a neat find? Once again, there is no story with it because it is a bench in front of a private home. I am positive that the owners don't want their homes on the internet. Ü You will just have to imagine how they came to have this bench and who uses it. . .
