Beautiful heart ironwork bench at Design Consign --#3 for Friday Challenge

I don't know how comfortable this one is but it sure is beautiful. It is too bad that there is so much clutter in the background to distract from the bench ironwork detail. It is a bit blurry when enlarged so I would not suggest you do that to see it better. I still like the bench. . . just have to get the photographer (me) a few lessons on how to take photos that aren't blurry.

The ironwork is pretty; was the bench deeper than most? It reminds me of a daybed.

It was lower than a daybed -- more like a couch.

Nice to look at but I wouldn't want to lean back on it. :)
Don't worry, we all have some blurry photos. You were so excited seeing that bench your hands must have been shaking. LOL

I think I would rather lie down (perhaps curled up?) than sit on this one :-) I was a neat design, though.

PS My bench(es) was from a small place called Eknes north of Bergen. The buildings are on an old quay, and local people have started to restore some of them. They plan to do them all.

PS Regarding the blurriness - carry a "beanbag"; a small pouch filled with dried peas or beans that you down on a stable surface before you place your camera on top. Using the self-timer with the beanbag might also help.

It looks to me like more of a decorative bench than a functional one. The delicate work on the back is pretty.
