Another bus stop bench

Recently, I had to attend a meeting at a place that was unfamiliar to me but in a big housing unit. I "got lost" several times before locating it but the best part of getting lost is that I discovered many "new" benches! This one, a private citizen chained to the post at a bus stop that did nto have a shelter. Pretty thoughtful, huh? It looks a lot like one I posted before from a private home. . .

And you could sit down and enjoy the scenery!

PS Thank you for the comment on my boat house, but the one about the bench didn't make it across the Atlantic - something must have eaten it :-)

Strange that a simple citizen had to put a bench for people who wait for the bus!
This bench makes me sad: it's so pretty, it should be in a beautyful garden, and it's chained in a street, under the rain without care and protection..

Not all bus stops have a bench. This one is out in the country. Not many people stop there but for the one that does occasionally, it is a great place to put a bench. The house nearby is located back on the property. I think it was wonderful that they were considerate enough to place it there for others to use. . .
