Bench at George Marshall house on Officers Row

This bench is next to an entrance. I didn't check to see if it opened up. Looks more like a window bench to me. . . I found it beautiful and would have given it a place of honor. The home was restored to the early days period of the city of Vancouver, along with many other homes on Officer's Row. This one , you can visit free of charge but they do accept dontions. The Army gave them to the city of Vancouver for one penny if they promised to restore them to the period they were built in. A couple are furnished with period furniture like in the day of their owners. The rest are rented out as private dwellings or offices but all the buildings are restored to period when built.

This one is beautyful. It seems to be sticked to the walls?..I think it could be opened to put things under the place where you sit;Also a beautyful wooden work;
