Old fashioned school desk and bench
I was walking down to the bank this morning and saw this in front of an antique store. Nostalgia set in and I decided to take a photo or two or three. . . lol I used a desk like this as a young child. If I had room for it, I would have bought it although there was no price on it. Yes, I looked.

Oh, I really love this one! as you say, it's about nostalgy and childhood.. I would have looked at the price , too!In France, school benches were not like that, they had two places and the bench was behind the desk, but was also bound to it. For me, this one is very american.
