Burnt Bridge Creek Trail rest station benches
They have nice picnic table benches at this rest station by Devine St., the last loop of the trail if you started at Stewart Glen or the first one if you started off Burton Road and 87th St. There is a drinking fountain and restrooms too. It is a welcome place for the person who has walked the 8 miles like I did last week.

I have a feeling I have seen that that stone bench before - in your header! :-) It was nice to see a picture of it in its full setting. Absolutely a place worth putting at the top of any site.
Yes, it also makes me think of your banner. is it the same place?..And, I agree with you: finding good benches after a long walk is a kind of blessing!
Very nice benches, nice places to rest your feet.
No, Rune, the header bench is from Mount Rainier. The bench today is from Vancouver, WA on the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail. If you look closely, even the stones are different.
I looked at it again . . . the ends of the stone bench are shaped different and even the stones on the ground are different. Please have another look between the two and see that they are not the same. At Mount Rainier, there was no restroom or drinking fountain or even a trail leading from it. It was down in an area leading to the Visitor Center. So many differences!
I guess the reason you couldn't tell is that the coment box is on a new page?
Cool bench and I'm impressed that you walked eight miles! You deserved a rest. ;-)
Hi PERBS,
Thanks for the nice comment on my sunset pic. I haven't any other benches right now; I got a new computer and have been spending a lot of time getting it set up instead of taking pictures. maybe next week...
What a very nice curved bench. Eight miles? I would have needed a bench after about two!!
I've recently started walking. No benches where I'm walking but the time I get to eight mile walks, I hope I have the pleasure of finding a few as well.
