Covered wagon bench at Old Apple Tree Celebration

At the Old Apple Tree celebration, they had a stagecoach to represent the time period when the tree was first planted. I just knew there had to be a bench inside it!

Nope, not from this side. . .

Could be used to sit on but not a bench here either!

Not this side . . .

Aha! There it is. . . do you see it?

Let me get closer. . . YUP! That's an old bench!

I adore this kind of wagon (or coach?)! I've only seen that in movies with cow-boys! it's great to discover one in real life through your eyes! And good idea to "look for" the bench: that way, we can visit all the inside! I'm glad you showed it.

I'm glad I don't have to ride across the prairie for endless days while sitting on this bench!

The suspense was killing me. Great job in conveying a story as you searched for a bench. Great photo.

I have never been in a wagon, but love to travel in one, though I would prefer a more comfortable bench if the journey is long.
I have posted a bench and wonder who uses it and for what purpose.

You always find those bench and I could say you must always be on the lookout for benches. I have my bench post now at my new page. Have a nice weekend.

I love this post... this is my first really look inside one of these covered wagons.... I should think it would take a certain someone to travel far in one of these...
