Katney's find! for Friday challenge . . .

She was hiking with her hubby when she came across this neat bench. She thought she would be able to take a photo when the people sitting there moved on BUT soon as someone got up, they were replaced with someone else! So these strangers get to be featured on my blog today. Thanks for the bench, Kathy!

Wow... this is truely stunning... and as I would expect a very welcoming sight for walkers to see.
I love the stone work and how it is shaped... this will stay in my mind for quite some time

Most unusual bench I have ever seen. Love that stone!!
Thanks to you and Katney. Good team work.

Thanks for your visit and for finding a sort-of bench. :) You're right, my bench is not up yet. I try to make it a rule never to post anything before breakfast, or at least not until the morning coffee has taken effect.
Cya later.

This bench is so strong and surrounded by beautiful environments that anybody who has been hiking for a long time, is happy to sit here and admire nature.
Thanks for your visit.

This one is really special, maybe one of the most special of the blog. seen from behind, it looks like an igloo!
When you arrive on the top of the place, you surely want to sit there, that's a reward!

Just now I found your benches at your other blog.. A very wonderful stone bench, natural as it can be! :) And what a scenery and view! I miss to go in the mountains when seeing those photos....!! Have a nice weekend! :)

That one was truly unique!! A real pleasure to see, but perhaps a bit hard to sit upon? It should provide good shelter in an exposed place like that.

PS Thank you for the comment! I haven't decided yet quite what I'm going to do about benches and Fridays and so forth, but we'll see... :-)

This is a very neat bench. It's high and exposed, but beautiful, and perfectly suited to the surroundings. I agree with Malyss, it looks like an igloo from behind!
Thanks for your visit and nice comment, and thanks for including me among your bench friends.

Not only was I waiting to get a clear picture of it, but I would have liked to sit on it. Alas, though it is not a place that hordes of casual walkers will reach, it is a destination for a lot of serious hikers. And so the bench is always occupied.

A perfect place for hikers with wide open panorama as well. I like the way the rocks are aligned which would likely keep any wind at bay from legs.

My benches are up late today.
