I first started blogging about benches with Kerri and Dot on this site: For the Love of Benches . If you care to see some of the older posts about benches we posted, please look it up.
This is another great BENCHES blog -- go here:

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
When I saw this bench, a lady was outside working in her flowerbeds and I actually asked permission to take a photo of their bench. I have never seen one like it before.
One must be quite attached to this game to acquire one like this - very special. I know next to nothing about it, but we have a VW Golf, so maybe that would be enough? :-)
PS Thank you for the comment! It was my grandfather who once taught here for a while, and he died before I was born. The teacher at that time ere "all-rounders" an taught all subjects at all 7-levels that was the compulsory school at that time. In one class at these small rural places.
I have never golfed, but do enjoy walking along the greens. I can see this bench in such a setting, though it's in a perfect location to take a break from gardening.
I thought maybe they won it in a championship tournament or something. I should have asked but the lady was busy and it didn't occur to me until I had walked by. I have no idea in town where I found it.

Ah, a special bench for golfers! No I've never seen one like this before either...but I'm not a golfer. ;-)
What an unusual bench! I wonder if the makers just made golf ones or ones with other sports too?
Oh how neat! I've never seen one with a golfer on it before!!
